Erin Hord, Wittenberg class of 2017, is living the dream every day in Maui, Hawaii, as a naturalist for the Pacific Whale Foundation, thanks to the numerous opportunities she had as a student at the university.
From the mountains to the sea, nine Wittenberg University students and two faculty members will traverse the entire length of Poland in less than four weeks this summer as they explore social psychology and political ideology in Polish culture.
Vice President of Advancement Wendy Kobler announced today that 2003 Wittenberg graduate Holly C. Gersbacher, associate director of alumni engagement and scholarship initiatives at Wright State University, will serve as Wittenberg’s new director of alumni relations and lifelong engagement. Gersbacher is expected to begin her new responsibilities on May 21.
“Through the Looking Glass” will be the theme of the 62nd annual Scholarship Style Show, presented by the Wittenberg Guild on Saturday, May 19, in the Center Dining Room of the Benham-Pence Student Center at Wittenberg University.
Wittenberg’s service-focused mission continued to be on full display during the 168th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 12, as the Class of 2018 and their families filled Commencement Hollow, along with faculty, staff and friends.
