Special Interest in Dance

Criteria: The Department of Theatre and Dance offers scholarships to incoming students who display exceptional talent and promise in theatre or dance. These scholarships are renewable annually to students who actively participate in Wittenberg's theatre or dance programs regardless of major or minor. An audition or interview, headshot/photo, resumé, letter of intent, and letter of reference are required.

Amount: Starting at $1,000 per year.

Special Interest in Community Engagement

Overview: You will be immersed in Springfield, interacting with a broad cross section of the members of the community including business, government and community leaders, nonprofit agencies, and individual residents. As a Wittenberg student, you are able to lend unique expertise, creativity and energy to community projects. This award will provide you with the chance to apply the knowledge you have gained through the skills and abilities you will have strengthened during your time spent at Wittenberg to the greater community.

Special Interest in Art

Criteria: the Department of Art offers scholarships to incoming students who display exceptional artistic talent and promise. These scholarships are renewable annually to students who maintain at least an art minor and maintain good standing in the program.

Amount: Starting at $1,000 per year.

Net Price Calculator

This calculator is designed to give your family an estimate of how much financial assistance you may be eligible to receive. The calculation is based on the costs and actual awards made to students in the 2012-2013 academic year. All information submitted is confidential and will not be recorded or used by Wittenberg in any way.

After You Pay Your Deposit

Transfer ApplicationYou’ve applied to Wittenberg and been accepted! Now you need to know what to do after paying your deposit.


MyWitt Portal

Within a day or two after your tuition deposit is received by the Office of Admission, you will receive an e-mail from the Solution Center which will give you the information you need to know to log on to the portal.

Wittenberg Scholarships

Each year Wittenberg recognizes and rewards outstanding scholastic achievements by awarding merit-based scholarships and special awards to deserving students.

Students are encouraged to apply for admission by December 1 for priority consideration of all scholarships and awards.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Students may receive one merit-based scholarship. Scholarship amounts are subject to change with changes to Wittenberg’s tuition.
