Welcome to the Web page for Advent and Lenten Devotions! Each year, Weaver Chapel Association, a student chapel ministry, organizes daily devotions for the seasons of Advent (leading up to Christmas) and Lent (leading from Ash Wednesday through to Good Friday).
They are written by members of the Wittenberg community, far and wide: students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and members of the Board of Directors.
Wittenberg has two pastors, a husband-wife team, who share one position.
The pastors lead worship, advise campus ministries, plan service trips, provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance, and are a resource for a wide spectrum of ministries, congregations and future vocational opportunities.
To visit with the pastors, stop by the chapel or call the chapel office at (937) 327-7411.
In weekly worship, we gather as a community of Christ. We seek to praise God, to hear God's word of grace in Jesus Christ, to share in the Lord's Supper, to pray for the concerns of our community and the world, and to be strengthened in faith as we are sent out into the world to serve in Christ's name.
