The Executive Office, also known as Memorial Headquarters, exists to provide support and service to collegiate and alumnae members. Along with the Alpha Delta Pi Archives and Memorial Gardens, Executive Office houses the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation and Gift Mart.
We collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house because they use the aluminum to pay for the electric bills. (Some of our really spirited sisters also wear them on safety pins around campus to promote support! Look around your classes- you’re sure to meet one of our sisters.)
“We Live for Each Other” is the motto by which we strive to live.
The mascot of ADPi is Alphie, the Lion.
Our flower is the wild Woodland Violet.
Azure blue and white are the official colors of Alpha Delta Pi. Azure blue symbolizes friendship and white stands for sincerity and truth.
Chi sisters are involved in many groups, clubs, and sports teams across campus. We pride ourselves on being a diverse group of women who are actively involved on campus as well as in the Springfield Community.
Chi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded on November 20, 1913 at Wittenberg University. At the time, the chapter consisted of seven members. Today, we are more than 10 times that size! Alpha Delta Pi was the second national sorority on Wittenberg’s campus. Our first Chapter meetings were held in a member’s home, and in 1936 Alpha Delta Pi purchased our current home on 1019 North Fountain Avenue, affectionately named “Big Blue.”
