Weaver Observatory

The observatory, constructed in 1931, was made possible by donations from the Elgar Weaver family of Brookville, Ohio. Dr. Hugh G. Harp, professor of mathematics and astronomy, was the first director of Weaver Observatory.

Meeting and Event Schedule

Club meetings take place on the first and third Monday of the month when classes are in session. If the first or third Monday is part of, for example, spring break or winter break, it's the next Monday back. All meetings are at 9:30pm in room 319 of the BDK Science Center (though later in the semester, we will have the Weaver Observatory ready for club meetings. We'll keep you posted!)
