People to Know

Mr. Toshikata “Toshi” Amino

brings over 40 years of international business leadership experience to the service of Wittenberg University, which he joined in 2009 as the senior Executive in Residence.
Mr. Amino began his career in the automotive industry in 1966 with Honda Motor Company Ltd., where he held a number of sales and executive positions, finally retiring as Executive Vice President at Honda. in1995.

Current Fellows

Ian Chadd

is a junior at Wittenberg, majoring in Chinese and Economics.  He is active in the Global Business Society, the Wittenberg Choir, and theater productions.  Plus last year he was a resident assistant in Myer's Hall.  Busy Guy!

Clubs and Internships

How can you get the most out of your time at Wittenberg?

  • Student-run clubs: The East Asian Institute, East Asian Studies program and Business department organize and coordinate opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom.
  • Off-campus opportunities include work/study at local businesses, internships (both governmental and business), and conferences organized by the State of Ohio, U.S. Commercial Service, and Miami Valley International Trade Association.

Fellowships

The East Asian Business Fellowship Award program, offered through the University's East Asian Institute, provides unique opportunities to a select group of incoming students to prepare them to succeed in today's global economy. 

Fellows engage deeply with East Asian cultures and the professional world of international business and leadership; they participate in a progressive experiential learning program to develop them as future global leaders.  Internships, study abroad, mentoring, and cultural activities are available to the student during their years at Wittenberg.
