Our art history students participate in regional and national research conferences. Seniors regularly present the results of their theses at the National Conferences on Undergraduate Research, the most competitive gathering of undergraduate scholars in the country.Students follow a rigorous application process.Juniors are encouraged to participate in other conferences. Wittenberg rewards the successful candidates with travel and presentation grants.
Students considering a career in Art Therapy are encouraged to complete a Studio Art major and supplement those classes with additional elective courses within the department of Psychology. In taking the recommended courses, students will be well prepared for graduate school training in Art Therapy.
