The process of integrating the information you collect about yourself and career options can be a challenge. Many students find it helpful to talk through the options they are considering. If you are having difficulty identifying or researching options, we can assist you with these steps as well. Decision-Making Tools

There are three general strategies for learning about options in the "real world." First, review descriptions of career fields - most of this information is just a click away. Second, talk to people about what they do for a living. And, third, get first hand experience through an internship, part-time job, or volunteering. The Exploring Occupations Worksheet will guide you in collecting information about the options you are considering.
