SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Candice Lange, President of Lange Advisors, will be speaking at the Communication Department's second colloquium on Thursday, entitled, "Work, Overwork, and Leadership". A veteran of the consulting business, she will discuss how to successfully deal with stress and potential heavy workloads that students will encounter post-graduation.

Minor in Communication

Requirements for Minor

The Communication minor consists of 20 semester hours, distributed as follows: Communication 200; four semester hours from 270S, 280, and 290S; four semester hours from 300, 301, 320, 322, 323, 327, 328, 330, 350, 351, 360, and 361; and eight hours in electives in Communication or other approved courses (except 491). Attendance at departmental colloquia is also required.

The "Death of Analog" Television Party

On February 17th the Department of Communication in conjunction with the Communication Club hosted a "Death of Analog" Televison Party to celebrate the greatest moments in television history while raising awareness among students and the community about the impending switch from analog to digital signals in U.S. broadcasting.
