Degree Overview

Requirements for Major

The major in The Russian and Central Eurasian Studies Program was established to give the Wittenberg student the opportunity to study the complicated fabric of Russian society by means of an interdisciplinary approach.

In addition to the required courses each major and minor is required to attend Russian Studies Colloquia at least once each term.

Student Research

The Russian and Central Eurasian Studies Program students are provided with many opportunities to be an active part of the Russian studies community by conducting research and presenting papers at national and regional conferences.

2006 Midwest Slavic Association Meeting

Four students from Dr. Hudson's Russian Foreign Policy class participated in the meeting by presenting papers or chairing a panel. For the Campus News report, click here.
