Getting an Internship Without Losing Your Mind

For about six weeks this summer I lived in a Los Angeles Ramada, and, when I would leave, I would leave to go work at Disney Studios.  Not Disney “Land” or “The Disney Store,” Disney, Disney, where they work in buildings that look like this:

Careers

From the news room to the court room, from the school room to, well, rooms in general, there always seems to be a place for a Wittenberg English major: Fred Mitchell writes for the Chicago Tribune, Mitchell Ayer is an attorney in Houston, Texas, Aubrey Ludwig teaches high school English, and Joe Snider is an architect who works on historic preservations.

English Major, to be or not to be?

Towards the beginning of the popular Broadway musical Avenue Q, Princeton (the loveable puppet protagonist) laments his college decision to Major in English:

What do you do with a B.A. in English,
What is my life going to be?
Four years of college and plenty of knowledge,
Have earned me this useless degree.
