Philanthropy at Lambda Chi Alpha
We here at Lambda Chi Alpha pride ourselves on our dedication to philanthropy. Throughout the year, we participate in philanthropies raising money for various charitable organizations. Although it is not mandatory, most chapters here on Wittenberg's campus host a local philanthropic event for the common good of our community. It is thus expected here at Lambda Chi Alpha that each member participate in these events to the best of their ability to help raise awareness in our community.
Our Philanthropies
North American Food Drive
On November 6, 1993, Lambda Chi Alpha began an international philanthropy project that has raised more than 26.9 million pounds of food for the needy across North America. Called the North American Food Drive, this annual event has arguably become the largest single-day philanthropic project sponsored by a collegiate organization.
Relay for Life
Brothers were able to raise over $900 for cancer research. All proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society.
Haiti Relief
The chapter had a breakfast raising money for the Haiti Earthquake victims. All proceeds were donated to the American Red Cross.
