The policies have changed under College Credit Plus. The student applicant will want to demonstrate readiness to take college courses. How might one demonstrate college readiness? Most applicants will make the case through some combination of grades in college preparatory courses, standardized test scores, and letters from a teacher and a counselor. Though we have no formal minimum GPA requirement, as a rule of thumb we recommend a HS GPA of 3.0 or higher in college preparatory courses. Wittenberg does not require test scores for admission, but we will consider those in your application if you include them. Note that some Wittenberg classes in foreign language or mathematics will require completion of an online placement test before we can register you for the appropriate course. Please include a high school transcript with your application.
High schools are holding their information sessions in February and March. CCP students may apply to Wittenberg at any time after March 1st. You should notify your high school of your intentions before April 1st. Registration for courses will begin over the summer. Click here to download the application.
As in the former PSEO program, tuition and book fees for College Credit Plus are paid by the state. Wittenberg will not charge additional tuition. The application fee is $30.
