WORKSHOPS

Presidents Workshop (September 12 & 13, 2012): Covering topics such as being mission-driven, member development, officer transitioning, and working with an advisor, this session allows organization leaders from across campus to think critically about their organization while continuing to develop the group and members during their tenure as an officer and beyond.

Treasurers Workshop (August 30 & 31, 2012): Geared toward student organization treasurers, this session covers Student Senate funding guidelines, purchase policies, processes, and other important areas of being a treasurer of a student organization.

Club Sport/Recreation Organization Captains & Officers Meeting (September 20 & 21, 2012): Due to the large and varying amounts of risk, equipment use, and liabilities, this meeting allows leaders of these organizations to dive into the various dynamics that impact the operation of their groups.

CPR/First-Aid Training (September 2, 2012): Geared towards our Club Sport leaders, but open to all of campus, this session allows our students to become certified in CPR & First-Aid.

OneStudent Sexual Assault Bystander Training: This program can be requested by student organizations to help develop their organization's members.  Trained facilitators discuss sexual assault and the realities college campuses face nationwide while also working with the audience through the bystander intervention model.

OTHER: Does your organization have specific workshop or presentation ideas?  Would your group benefit from a discussion on a particular topic?  Let the Office of Student Involvement know.  We will work with you to find the best workshop, activity, or facilitator to benefit your organization.
