As the primary programming body on campus, UB plans and executes the majority of all entertainment activities at Wittenberg, all of which are open to students at little or no cost. UB members have the opportunity to develop extensive management skills as well as gain a significant amount of leadership experience.
Activities Include: Homecoming, Lil' Sibs Weekend, WittFest, other major concerts, a film series, comedians, speakers, games, a spring coffeehouse series and a wide range of other recreational activities. UB is divided into committees which specialize in different areas of programming. Current committees include: Marketing, Comedy, Music, Diversity, Special Weeks (Homecoming/Lil' Sibs), Recruitment and Retention, and Recreation.
Membership: There are two boards. Anyone can join general board at any time. Open meetings are held weekly in the UB office in the Student Center. To serve on the executive board, one must have been active on the general board for at least one semester and go through an application and interview process. Applications are available the last three weeks of fall semester, and interviews are held the week before final exams. For more information, stop by the UB office in the Student Center any time, or look us up on Facebook.
