Recognizing the talent, academic performance and mission-driven spirit of Tiger volleyball, President Laurie M. Joyner joined in celebrating another stellar season during a special banquet in the team’s honor.

“It is indeed an honor and privilege to celebrate your tremendous 2012 season with you,” Joyner said. “From the first weekend, and your wins over ranked opponents Wartburg, Whitworth and Trinity in the Courtyard by Marriott National Invitational, I was so impressed by your team’s level of play. I also quickly came to understand why so many Wittenberg community members are ardent supporters of your team. Your spirit, your teamwork and the class with which you handle both victories and defeats is not only inspiring, but also reflects our mission on multiple levels.”
