During Family Weekend, Sept. 14-16, President Laurie M. Joyner participated in several events specifically for parents. In addition to sharing remarks during a special Parents Executive Committee-sponsored luncheon, Sept. 14, which included a welcome by Lisa and Alan Watson, Parents Association co-chairs, Joyner also addressed members of the Parents Leadership Circle (PLC) during a special dinner at the Benjamin Prince House, hosted by Tom and Melanie Murray, PLC co-chairs.

On Sept. 15, Joyner met with seniors and their parents during the popular Senior Wine and Cheese event in the Hobson Atrium of the Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center. She also attended Sunday’s worship service in Weaver Chapel, Sept. 16.
