The Association of Governing Boards (AGB) Institute for Board Chairs and Presidents of Independent Colleges and Universities is dedicated to exploring practical strategies to strengthen governance. The three-day Aspen, Colo.-based institute focused on such areas as building an effective chair-president relationship; creating an effective board; and assessing board and presidential effectiveness. David L. Boyle, chair of the Wittenberg Board of Directors, and President Laurie M. Joyner, attended the institute together.
