Tuition Scholarships

Wittenberg provides an extraordinary tuition scholarship benefit for eligible faculty and staff, their spouses and dependent children.

  • Faculty & Staff members - 16 semester hours each academic year at full tuition remission.
  • Spouses – 2 classes each academic year at full remission, additional courses at 50%.
  • Dependent Children – full time students receive full remission for courses taken at Wittenberg.  If eligible, Wittenberg funded tuition scholarships are available for dependents attending another 2- or 4-year accredited institution.   As part of Wittenberg's tuition scholarship benefit, we participate in several tuition exchange programs.   To encourage Wittenberg faculty and staff to participate in a Tuition Exchange program, Wittenberg will pay for housing costs at the rate of a standard double room (room but not board) for those students who live on campus as defined by the host institution.  This benefit will be limited to housing costs not already funded by other grants or scholarships.  The largest program is Tuition Exchange, Inc.  It is a reciprocal scholarship program for children of eligible faculty and staff employed at over 600 participating institutions.  You can learn more about Tuition Exchange, Inc. and the participating schools by visiting the website.   Tuition Exchange, Inc

Please refer to the staff manual and the text of the Tuition Scholarship Policies for a full list of eligibility requirements and limitations.
