We are located “off the beaten path” in the lower level of the Shouvlin Building right next door to where your student eats meals in the student center.
We have nurses available from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm Monday through Friday to evaluate any full time student’s need. The clinic hours, where the student makes an appointment to see the physician are three hours a day and either morning or afternoon. There is a minimal fee charged to the student’s account to see the nurse or physician. We do not bill any insurance plans.
Our staff is trained to care for college age students and their medical needs. We understand the Wittenberg community and academic calendar and stresses of the academic year. I encourage the students to use our facilities whenever possible.
We operate just like a family medicine office with capabilities to do pelvic exams, minor laceration repair, allergy injections, cryo treatment for warts, as well as the usual evaluation and treatment of medical conditions and illness.
We do not have xray capabilities in the office, but refer students to a facility closeby and receive called reports very efficiently.
Please, encourage your student to come and check us out before they become ill so that they know where we are. Come meet our staff nurses: Martha, Sally or Linda. It’s the closest thing to “Mom or Dad” when they’re sick, I promise!
Also, discuss with your son or daughter the idea of them signing the release of information found on the web page so that our staff may talk to you freely if you call for medical information.
Call us if we can answer any questions for you. 937-327-7811.
