The Faculty Development Board’s 2008 Spring Faculty Retreat

The 2008 retreat was the first to take place at the Springfield Art Museum, which reduced travel not only for those participants who live in town but also for those faculty who divided their day between the retreat and various campus obligations. Event organizer and FDB Chair Ty Buckman also asked the Wittenberg Food Co-op to provide a breakfast of (largely) local food (including plenty of Cathie Dollinger’s eggs). Thanks to the reusable dishes available at the museum and a slew of cloth napkins loaned to the cause, the Co-op crew provided a zero-waste breakfast for about 100 people.
