Step 1: Complete an on-line order form.
On a monthly basis during the academic year, an on-line order form will list product options for that purchasing cycle. Simply fill out the form by indicating the products and quantities you'd like from that month's offering. Once you've completed your order successfully, confirmation will be sent to your email account.
Step 2: Make your payment.
The co-op is basically a buying club--albeit one with a clear conscience and extraordinarily good taste--so the organizers need your advance payment to purchase the items you've selected. To complete this step, make out a check to "Wittenberg University" in the amount of your order, and then send it to Michelle McWhorter in the Biology Department by the deadline for that ordering cycle. Campus mail works fine for this purpose as do personal visits to Professor McWhorter's office, Room 367 of Kuss Science Center.
Step 3: Pick up your order.
Your items for the month will be available for pickup (usually in atrium of Hollenbeck Hall) at the designated date and time for that particular distribution. Bags will be available at the distribution point to help you cart away your purchases, but bringing your own reusable bags is also encouraged and generally in the spirit of the occasion. Be sure to mark the distribution date on your calendar and make arrangements for someone to pick up your order should you be unable to stop by. Because the co-op is not able to store unclaimed items, all the leftovers at the end of the distribution will be donated to Second Harvest food bank.
Your feedback and suggestions on the service provided, on the products offered, and on any co-op-related matter are encouraged and are helpful in the growth and improvement of the organization. Please see the contacts page for ways to get in touch with coop volunteers.
