Emily Roesch My name is Emily Roesch. I have studied German for a while and spent a WONDERFUL semester abroad my Junior year. I highly recommend studying aroad although I do not recommend spending two weekends in a row at Oktoberfest- it is really expensive. After maxing-out my credit card in Prague I am back in the states working feverishly to pay it all back. It was totally worth it though. Come join me in the language lab- where I can share my knowledge of German or whatever else you want to know about. |

Edith Sicken Hello! I’m Edith and I’m one of the German tutors in the FLLC this year! I spent my junior year abroad in Marburg, Germany – I had a fantastic time and I got to see a lot of really amazing places (and I took a few thousand pictures on my year abroad) and got to eat a lot of awesome food (I highly recommend Aufläufe!). I would definitely encourage you to studying abroad – going to Paris, on a whim, for your birthday is pretty epic – so is being able to tell stories about visiting the real Castle Frankenstein! (I’m a horror film nerd.) This year I’m a senior, finishing up my German major and my Poli Sci minor. If you ever need help with Deutsch, come visit me – I’d be happy to chat with you! |
