At Wittenberg, learning doesn’t stop when spring semester ends in May. On the contrary, our students seek out innovative ways to enhance their education. Beyond the standard classes offered on campus, Witt students can complete a professional city management experience through the internationally-backed Local Government Management Internships (LGMI) program, learn marine biology in the Bahamas, study watercolor painting in Rome, read French history and literature in Paris, or explore Japanese culture in Tokyo.
The university's belief that practical, hands-on experience is so important also translates into summer research funds availablefor students to stay on campus to work one-on-one with professors on a variety of projects. Additionally, the Tiger alumni network helps make connections across the country for summer jobs and internships. Whatever the experience, our students show future employers and graduate schools that they go above and beyond the core requirements for graduation.
