One thing’s for sure—the Witt light is well traveled. Our alumni live in more than 70 countries, with nearly 100 in Japan alone. Every year Witt students choose from more than 40 study abroad programs, spending a semester, a year or a summer overseas. And our professors regularly travel around the world to teach or conduct research as Fulbright Scholars, lead summer study abroad programs, or engage in community service with Habitat for Humanity, for example.
Through these international experiences, our students do more than broaden their horizons. They become proficient in foreign languages, gain a deeper understanding of other cultures, and learn to be global citizens. Perhaps most important, they bring their light to others. As a result, Witt students, faculty and alumni make a powerful impact on the world every day.
