Wittenberg’s emphasis on teaching and small class sizes guarantees students personal attention and hands-on experience in the classroom, labs and research projects.
Our students work closely with faculty on research projects to learn more about a specific area of biochemistry and molecular biology or gain experience for graduate school or future employment. Students may work toward publishing a research paper in an academic journal and presenting their research results at an academic conference.
Graduates from our BMB program have worked for the American Chemical Society, Cleveland Clinic, Thermo Fisher Scientific as well as a number of research institutions including Arizona and Stanford. Others have pursued graduate school at institutions such as Carnegie Mellon, Cincinnati, The Ohio State University and Pittsburgh.
