TWO TIGERS EARN ALL-NORTH COAST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE HONORS IN WOMEN¼S TENNIS

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--- Two Wittenberg University women¼s tennis players were selected second team All-North Coast Athletic Conference for their performances this season.

Freshman Erin Beach (Dayton, Ohio/Butler) finished her first collegiate season with a 17-5 overall mark playing at the first and second singles position. At the second singles position where she played most of the season, Beach recorded a perfect 8-0 record in the conference and a 16-2 overall record.

Joining Beach on the second team was freshman Shannon Oliphant (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson). Oliphant recorded a 13-10 overall record at the first and second singles position and was 11-8 and 4-4 in the conference at the first singles spot.

Beach and Oliphant were also selected to the second team for first doubles with a 14-8 overall record and a 4-4 finish in the conference.

The Tigers, under the direction of head coach Dave Engle, finished the season with an 11-13 overall record and a seventh place finish in the NCAC.
