Tiger Reserves Fall At Cincinnati State

With just 11 players available, the Tigers worked hard against a quick and feisty Cincinnati State team. Junior Kelsey Rosinski and freshmen Mandi Clemons controlled the defensive end with hard tackles and clear communication, as Tigers fought off continuous pressure from the home team. However, near the end of the first half, a Cincinnati State corner kick resulted in the only score of the game as it was headed into the back of the net.
In the second half the Tiger offense battled back well, generating several promising scoring opportunities. Freshman Kelsey Dimar led on the offensive side of the ball for Wittenberg. She had help in the midfield from freshman Amy Cook and sophomore Megan Gordon. The three of them worked well with the team's forwards in an effort to find a way to put the ball in the back of the goal.
