Wittenberg University's women's lacrosse team is ready for a year of improvement and success as it continues to build a strong program and tradition. Each season the Tigers continue to set new marks in the program's history and this year looks to be no different. Under the direction of head coach Nancy Beck, who is in her 14th season with the Tigers a strong tradition is well under way.
The Tigers return a handful of strong scoring leaders from last season and also welcome a strong recruiting class that will likely make a large contribution in 2000.
Some of the top returners for the Tigers in 2000 include lone senior Kim Miller (Mechanicsburg, Ohio./Mechanicsburg), who will be looked to for key leadership on the field, junior Megan McKenna (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) the Tigers' leading scorer the past two seasons and a two-time All NCAC selection. Also look for continued success from junior Erin Tremlin (Bellevue, Wash./Holy Names) who recorded 19 goals last season and junior Kati Robbins (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) who has continued to play a role in the Tigers' success.
Head coach Nancy Beck will also be looking toward several newcomers to play a role in the Tigers' winning ways this season. Freshman Lindsay Law (Columbus, Ohio/Scioto), Heather House (Dayton, Ohio/Oakwood) and Cara Romanowski (Collegeville, Pa./Perkoimen Valley) are all likely to contribute in their first year.
