Andy Lamb
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers opened a new era with a 5-4 victory over Northwestern Ohio at the Albright Tennis Complex. It was the first victory in Head Coach Justin Stuckey's career.

In a narrow one-point victory, the key was the play of sophomore Andy Lamb (Bluffton, Ohio/Bluffton). He was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at No. 5 singles and paired with freshman Derek de Rie (Breukeler, The Netherlands/RSG Broklede) to pick up an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.

The two teams split the six singles matches, with the other Tiger winners being freshman Stephane Antwi (Rosedale, NY/Monsignor McClancy Memorial) at No. 3 by a 6-1, 6-3 score and junior Rob Lehner (Gahanna, Ohio/St. Francis DeSales) at No. 6 by a 6-3, 6-4 score.

In doubles, Wittenberg also picked up a win from the No. 1 tandem of senior Brad Seymour (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) and sophomore Bobby Fisher (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) by an 8-3 score.
