News Release: Wittenberg Winter Sports Athletes And Coaches Claim 19 Conference Postseason Awards

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – A solid 2006-07 winter sports season wrapped up for the Wittenberg University Tigers over the last two weeks as the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) awarded 19 Wittenberg student-athletes with postseason honors. SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Finishing strong in their final tune up before the North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet Feb. 8-10, the Wittenberg Tigers came up with a pair of dual meet victories against in-state rival Case Western University on Senior Recognition Day. SPRINGFIELD/GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Wittenberg Tigers turned in a pair of solid performances over the weekend, defeating Transylvania at home before losing to perennial powerhouse Denison on Saturday. Wittenberg Splits Dual Meet With Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio — The Wittenberg men's and women's swimming and diving teams had quite an interesting afternoon at North Coast Athletic Conference rival Wooster. A meet that started out well enough was interrupted in the middle of the women's 1,000-yard freestyle competition by a campus-wide power outage, which forced the two teams to move their meet to nearby Wooster High School.
