The Tigers continued their scoring drive with four more goals in the second quarter while the defense held the Scots scoreless through the rest of the first half. Mark Burrell scored two goals and an assist for the Tigers in the second while Cassani recorded another goal and assist. Andy Stone scored a goal for the Tigers while Shawn Egan and Habermeyer each recorded an assist in the second quarter. The Tigers went into the half with a 7-1 lead over the Scots.
As the second half opened up, the Tiger defense allowed two goals by the Scots, but answered back with three of their own. Clapp, Burrell and Cassani each had a goal with assists by Clapp, Egan and Dan Hillerich. The Tigers continued to lead into the final quarter 10-3.
The fourth quarter allowed most of the Tiger players to see action on the field as many of the younger players had the opportunity to get into the game. The Tiger defense allowed two more goals by the Scots, but the offense responded with two more Tiger goals. Clapp and Hillerich each scored goals in the final quarter for the Tigers, as Wittenberg posted a 12-5 victory over Wooster.
Senior goalkeeper Michael Oliver recorded 12 more saves for the Tigers and Eric Clapp and Dan Hillerich led the team in groundballs with four each.
