During the second quarter the Tiger defense missed the beat and allowed five Bishop goals. Ohio Wesleyan took a 7-2 lead into the half as the Tiger offense was unable to score.
As the Tiger offense scored two goals late in the third quarter, the Bishop offense was unstoppable as it recorded six more goals. Eric Clapp and Egan both scored for the Tigers, but watched as the Bishops took a 13-4 lead into the final quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Tigers played strong and held Ohio Wesleyan to two goals while the Tiger offense recorded five goals. Billy Habermeyer, Mike Stormshak, Dan Hillerich, Cassani and Burrell each recorded goals for the Tigers. Burrell also added an assist. But the Tigers were unable to catch the Bishops as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Wittenberg 15-9.
Senior goalie Michael Oliver recorded a season high 20 saves for the Tigers while senior Eric Clapp led the team in groundballs with eight.
