Snapshots of Wittenberg University 2001 Men's Lacrosse SeasonPhotos by Ryan Maurer  The 2001 Wittenberg University Tigers are a deep team led by seven seniors - Mario Cassani, Vinny Oliver, Andy Rathfon, Chris Gruber, Scott Gilbert, Shawn Egan and Tim Schuckman.  Wittenberg University senior Chris Gruber leads another offensive rush.  Wittenberg University senior Mario Cassani is the team's leading scorer in 2001.  Wittenberg University senior Chris Gruber attacks a Kenyon defender.  Wittenberg University Vinny Lang is in his first season with the Tigers. Also the coach of the German National Team, Lang previously built a winner at Mercyhurst College and expects to do the same at Wittenberg very quickly.
