Wittenberg Cross Country Teams Make 1999 NCAA Division III All-Academic Team


Wittenberg Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams ranked very high among all the NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams. The Wittenberg Women's Team scored an average G.P.A of 3.589 for its 12 runners. This ranked the Women's team 18th on the list of more than 120 teams. Wittenberg was also the top ranked NCAC team academically, with the College of Wooster and Denison ranked at 43rd and 46th respectively. The 12 members of Wittenberg Men's Cross country team averaged a G.P.A of 3.489 which ranked them 21st among the NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams. The Men's team was the second team ranked in the NCAC behind Earlham at third.
