Wittenberg University senior forward Ryan Taylor led all scorers in the game with 21 points. Taylor later received the added good news of being named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year and a second-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Head Coach Bill Brown has now won 180 games since taking over the Wittenberg men's basketball program in 1993. He has been named NCAC Coach of the Year twice during that span.

Wittenberg University sophomore forward B.J. Harris dropped in this baby hook shot en route to eight points and six rebounds in just 14 minutes off the bench against visiting Maryville College.

Wittenberg University junior guard Chad Mossing rebounded from a leg injury at the beginning of the season to contribute both minutes and hustle in 19 games off the bench in 2001.

Wittenberg University junior guard Greg Rustad was a key component to the 2001 championship run, providing consistent long-range shooting to loosen up the inside for the Tigers' big men.

Wittenberg University sophomore forward Kevin Longley grabbed four rebounds against Maryville, nearly five below his team-best season average. Still, Longley was an important contributor to the Tigers' rebounding effort, which outpaced the visitors 48-38.

Wittenberg University fans were raucous in several late-season home games, making the atmosphere that much more difficult for opponents in the HPER Center.

Wittenberg University senior center Chris Fillmore was a force on the frontline for the Tigers during his stellar career. He was named first-team All-NCAC in 2000 and second-team in 2001.

Wittenberg University freshman guard Mark Borland contributed seven points, three rebounds and two assists to the Tigers' effort against Maryville in 16 minutes off the bench.

Enthusiasm in the HPER Center as the newly formed Pep Club members sensed another victory.

Head Coach Bill Brown has never had a Wittenberg team finish with less than 11 wins in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
