Artie Taylor was hired as Wittenberg's full-time assistant men's basketball coach prior to the 2002-03 season.

Taylor, an Indianapolis, Ind. native, received his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in 1998. Taylor was a basketball standout at John Carroll, earning all-conference and all-region honors during a career that included two league titles and berths in three NCAA Division III Tournaments. He also serves as marketing director for the Wittenberg University athletic department.

Since completing his playing career, Taylor has served as an assistant coach at John Carroll, Defiance College and Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis. Taylor resides in Columbus with his wife, Christine, and their son, A.J.

Randy Lincicome Head Shot Assistant Coach Randy Lincicome

Randy Lincicome came on to the Tiger men's basketball coaching staff in 2001 as a volunteer assistant.

Lincicome, a 1975 graduate of Ohio University, is a 27-year coaching veteran who has been a head coach at both the high school and college levels at Mechanicsburg and Ohio State University-Newark respectively. He teaches at Mechanicsburg High School and lives in Grove City with his wife, Joyce.




Al Cridge Head Shot Assistant Coach Al Cridge

Al Cridge joined the Tiger men's basketball program as a volunteer assistant coach in 2001.

Cridge, who teaches in the Mad River Montgomery school district, has extensive head high school coaching experience. His coaching credentials include stints as the head boys' coach at both Dayton Carroll and Oakwood High Schools.

Cridge and his wife, Patti, are the parents of six children and reside in Kettering. One of his daughters, Casey, is a sophomore at Wittenberg and a member of the Tiger women's basketball program.

Pat Carlisle Head Shot Assistant Coach Pat Carlisle

Pat Carlisle joined the Tiger coaching staff in 2004 as a volunteer assistant coach.

Carlisle, a 2001 graduate of Wright State University, has previously been on the coaching staffs at Dayton Jefferson High School, Miami University at Middletown and Cincinnati State College. He currently teaches at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center. Carlisle resides in Dayton with his wife, Diana, and their daughter, Megan.




Andy Bonar Head Shot Assistant Coach Andy Bucheit

Andy Bucheit joins the Wittenberg men’s basketball coaching staff as a volunteer in 2005 after a tremendously successful four-year run with the Tigers on the court.

Bucheit, who graduated from Wittenberg in May 2005 with a degree in communication, is one of the finest three-point shooters in school history. A four-year letterwinner, Bucheit primarily did his damage off the bench during his career. But as a starter in all 29 games as a senior, Bucheit led the Tigers and ranked among the best in the NCAC with 79 three-pointers while averaging 11.8 points per game en route to second-team All-NCAC honors.

Wittenberg posted a phenomenal 95-19 record during Bucheit’s four-year career, which he finished with 951 points. The Tigers won two NCAC regular season titles, one NCAC Tournament crown and made three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances during his career.


Rob Hayes Head Shot Student Assistant Drew Denisco

Drew Denisco, a current sophomore at Wittenberg, will serve as a student assistant coach for the program during the 2005-06 season. Denisco, a member of last year’s junior varsity program, is a graduate of The Wellington School in Columbus.
