CLEVELAND, Ohio — Oberlin junior R.V. Carroll and Wabash senior Adrian Pynenberg have been honored for outstanding seasons by being named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Year. Wittenberg freshman inside linebacker Brad McKinley is the North Coast’s Newcomer of the Year. He led the Tigers in tackles and finished second in the North Coast behind Pynenberg with a total of 120 stops, 53 of them solo. Read More ... |

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — For 13 Wittenberg University football players, their final game as collegiate seniors turned into a landslide victory and a record-setting day. The Tigers soundly defeated North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) foe Hiram College, 70-20, to put the finishing touches on the team's best record since 2003. With the victory, the Tigers finish the regular season with an 8-2 overall record, the same record as the 2003 team, and a 5-1 conference mark. Read More ... |

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wittenberg freshman linebacker Brad McKinley (Hilliard, OH/Davidson) was a hero in the late minutes of the Tigers' game against Ohio Wesleyan. He stopped a Battling Bishop drive with an interception on the OWU 46-yard line and returned it 37 yards to clinch the Tigers' 21-61 victory. McKinley also recorded a game-best 16 stops, one tackle for a loss and a half sack in the game. Read More ... |

They extended the dominance with a suprisingly lopsided 58-7 victory Saturday at Edwards-Maurer Field. The Tigers kicked off the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference schedule in style, rolling up 633 yards of total offense to improve to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the NCAC. | SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Former Wittenberg football standout Joe Torrens, a graduate assistant football coach at Carroll College the past two seasons, died tragically in a car accident on Saturday, June 16 near his hometown of Utica, Ohio.
