Player of the Week: Andrew Wellman Named NCAC Player of the Week![]() |
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wittenberg senior Andrew Wellman (Huntington, WV/Huntington) drove in the winning run to lift the Tigers past nationally ranked Transylvania, 3-2. He capped his 5-for-5 evening with an eighth-inning single that completed a five-run Tiger rally to clinch the come-from-behind victory. Wellman reached base six straight times, adding a walk his totals. He also finished with one run and a double to his credit.
