SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — A solid spring sports season has reaped individual rewards for 30 Wittenberg University athletes who were selected to All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) teams over the last two weeks. Announcements for men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, softball and baseball have come in separate releases from the NCAC office. Tigers Fall In Game 3 To Top-Ranked Wooster In NCAC Tournament Semifinals
WOOSTER, Ohio — They had their chances, but by game's end the Wittenberg Tigers found themselves on the short end of a 13-3 score against the College of Wooster. The Scots, the No. 1 ranked team in all of NCAA Division III, moved into the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament championship game for a fourth consecutive year by closing out the Tigers by a 2-1 margin in the semifinal series. Tigers Split With Top-Ranked Wooster In NCAC Tournament Semifinals
WOOSTER, Ohio — The Wittenberg Tigers did the improbable on Saturday, and as a result they live to fight another day after splitting a doubleheader at the College of Wooster in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals. Wittenberg Reaches NCAC Tournament By Completing Four-Game Sweep Of Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Wittenberg Tigers held up their end of the bargain Saturday, pounding out a doubleheader sweep of host Earlham College by scores of 11-2 and 15-7. SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — In a moment of crisis, a freshman relief pitcher stepped forward to save the day for the Wittenberg Tigers. Righthander Josh Fiebiger made the most of his first big moment in a Tiger uniform, coming on in the top of the ninth inning to stall a Muskingum rally and earn his first career save in a 7-6 Wittenberg win over visiting Muskingum. Tigers Banged Around By Thomas More
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Wittenberg Tigers had an off night Wednesday, and they paid a significant price for it in a 19-8 home defeat at the hands of Thomas More.

NCAC Player of the Week: Jason Holmberg Named NCAC Pitcher of the Week
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wittenberg senior Jason Holmberg (Miamisburg, OH/Kettering Alter) tossed an 11-inning complete game to lead Wittenberg to a 4-3 win in the OWU series opener. He then came in during game four to earn the last two outs. He allowed seven hits and three runs, one of which was earned, while walking one and striking out six in 11.2 innings of work during which he threw 106 pitches.
