Springfield, Ohio – Wittenberg University’s Office of Alumni Relations and the Wittenberg Guild present their fourth Noon Lunch & Learn Lecture of the 2010-11 school year at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the Faculty Dining Room on the second floor of the Benham-Pence Student Center, 734 Woodlawn Avenue. Members of the Wittenberg Garden Club will make a presentation titled “Spring Into Action In The Garden.”
Participants may purchase a meal in Post 95 or the Center Dining Room, both located in the student center, or they may bring a meal from home. The event begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by the lecture and a question-and-answer period at 12:15 p.m.
Kathy Dennis, administrative assistant in the Wittenberg’s Office of Information Technology Services, and Kathy Voytko, administrative assistant in Wittenberg’s Department of Education, are the featured speakers.
“March is a wonderful time to think about what your garden will look like in the spring and summer,” Voytko said. “Kathy and I will present suggestions on plants for the 2011 garden, ways to improve your garden and secrets on how to grow bigger and better this year. We will help you to chase the gray skies away with a slide show and by showing some sample garden gadgets.”
