Provost Scholarship Visit Days
Congratulations! Your exceptional academic achievements, co-curricular involvements, and personal references have earned you the distinct honor of being considered for Wittenberg University’s most prestigious merit-based scholarship, the Provost Scholarship.
As a provost scholarship candidate you are invited to participate in Wittenberg University’s Scholarship Days. During Scholarship Days, you will complete a two-step process, which includes writing an essay and taking part in an interactive interview with a group of students and a Wittenberg faculty member. A prompt for both the essay and the interview will be provided to you upon your arrival on campus.
The over-arching theme of your essay prompt and interview discussion will be “compassion within and beyond the university.”
Parents are more than welcome to join us. During the student’s essay and interview sessions, separate presentations are offered for parents and families.
During your Scholarship Day, you will:
-Tour and experience Wittenberg’s beautiful campus
-Meet and connect with professors and students
-Learn and ask questions about scholarships and financial aid
-Enjoy lunch in the dining hall while interacting with current students
-Explore the Matthies Honors House
Please allow a full day for your Scholarship Day. When you register, we will send you a detailed schedule of events with your confirmation packet via e-mail. Please use the e-mail address you check most often when registering below.
If you cannot attend one of the Scholarship Days but would like to make individual arrangements, please contact the Office of Admission by phone at (877) 206-0332, or by e-mail at admission@wittenberg.edu.
