The staff of the Writing Center is composed of students representing a variety of academic fields. To become a writing advisor, students apply to take English 242: Writing Center Theory and Practice, offered each spring. The students chosen to take this class demonstrate a strong interest in writing and a commitment to helping others with their writing. They love working with other writers.
