New Student Days Information for Parents
Move in Day - Thursday, August 22, 2013
During New Student Days, parents are strongly encouraged to participate in move-in day activities, in an effort to become better acquainted with Wittenberg.
An Opening Ceremony will take place in Wittenberg 's Health, Physical Education and Recreation Center (HPERC), and all parents are invited to attend. Parents are also invited to enjoy lunch anytime between 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on the Chapel lawn. Information on your student's adviser will be included in your "PARENT PACKET," which you will receive at your son's or daughter's residence hall upon arrival. Students will also receive informational packets when they check in on Thursday, beginning at 8 a.m.
Should you need to depart immediately following the Opening Ceremony, please share your good-byes beforehand as your student will leave the HPERC with his or her advising group following the program's conclusion.
