Holiday Open House Starts New Tradition
With the scents of pine, hot chocolate and warm Wassail wafting in the air, the newly reshaped presidential Holiday Open House attracted more than 150 members of both the Wittenberg and Springfield communities to the Benjamin Prince House, Dec. 9. The family-focused event also welcomed children and grandchildren, many of whom quickly spied the ornament-making station and tasty assortment of holiday treats strategically placed throughout the home of President Laurie M. Joyner and her family.
