As the Inauguration of Laurie M. Joyner, Ph.D. neared, Wittenberg reflected its active, engaged learning environment with a number of events leading up to the Sept. 7 ceremony, including the powerful role athletics plays in the  life of the university during a first-ever Tiger Rally, Sept. 5. Coaches, players and President Laurie M. Joyner addressed scholar-athletes and their fellow students in the packed Geil Lounge where Tiger pride filled every corner of the venue.
