
Inauguration Schedule of Events
A number of celebratory activities are scheduled throughout the week beginning Sept. 4, which will bring together students, faculty, staff and the Springfield community.
To assist you with all your needs during the Inauguration, a Hospitality Center will be open from 12 Noon - 6 p.m. inside the Bayley Alumni House on Thursday, Sept. 6, and again from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7. Refreshments will be available.

Convene at fountains outside The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel located at 100 S. Fountain Ave. For those coming from campus, meet at flagpoles outside Benham-Pence Student Center at 3:45 p.m. to pick up shuttle. Shuttles will begin transporting back to campus beginning at 5 p.m.
5-6 p.m. – Wittenberg Happy Hour

Celebrating New Beginnings: Day of Service and Celebration
Students, faculty and staff who want to participate in any portion of the Day of Service and Celebration must register – Click Here to Register.

12:30 p.m. – Bus takes service participants to Lincoln Elementary from 723 N. Fountain Ave. (front)
1-4 p.m. – Day of Service (participants must take the transportation provided)
Springfield Promise Neighborhood
4 p.m.- Buses return service participants back to campus who cannot stay for the celebration
4:15 p.m. – Buses leave to go back to Lincoln Elementary for celebration dinner and talent show.
Students, faculty and staff who want to take the bus to the celebration should go to 105 Shouvlin Center to check-in
4:30-6 p.m. – Dinner Celebration and Talent Show
Lincoln Elementary School
6:15 p.m. – Buses return back to Wittenberg
Directions to Lincoln Elementary – for students, faculty and staff who will take their own transportation to the celebration dinner
