Transportation not only produces more than a quarter of all greenhouse gases in our environment, it is also the fastest growing source of these emissions in the U.S.  Sometimes transportation needs are difficult to avoid, but on other occasions, we pile into our own cars when we could easily share rides, get on our bikes, or take a walk.  By adopting a system that encourages members of your organization to reduce their dependence on fuel-burning vehicles, you’ll remind people to think about the environmental impact of our current approach to travel.
