Membership Intake
NPHC organizations conduct membership intake on a chapter by chapter basis.  If interested a NPHC organization, you may contact the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at cpreston "at" wittenberg.edu or (937) 327-7820 to obtain appropriate chapter contact information.

Membership Recruitment
Membership Recruitment is the term used to describe how fraternities and sororities attract and pledge new members. Recruitment is an unending process. At Wittenberg, however, we have two structured periods (one each semester) of condensed recruitment events.

A period of informal events takes place in fall for upperclass students only. Contact individual organizations for information on upcoming recruitment events. More information on individual chapter events will be posted on the Upcoming Events page and here as it becomes available.

Formal Recruitment takes place in January for first year students as well as others who are interested.  The Fraternity Life FAQ sheet will give you more information about the men's recruitment process. You can also find information about men's recruitment in general at FraternityInfo.com. General information about women's recruitment can be found online at TheSororityLife.com.

Recruitment means meeting and making friends, in classes, sports, clubs, CDR or wherever Greek and non-Greek students interact. You are welcome and encouraged to ask Greek students general questions about Greek life anytime you wish. Get to know them and let them get to know you...you might decide to be brothers or sisters if you do!

Recruitment Eligibility
To be eligible for membership in a Wittenberg fraternity, you must have completed 12-15 credits at Wittenberg with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA, or have completed 16 credits with a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA (some chapters have higher academic and other standards that they are looking for).

To be eligible for membership in a Wittenberg sorority, you must have completed 12-15 credits at Wittenberg with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA, or have completed 16 credits with a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA (some chapters have higher academic and other standards that they are looking for).

We hope you will come visit all the chapters at your earliest opportunity in order to make the best decision for YOU.

Disclaimer:  Registration or participation in Wittenberg Fraternity or Sorority Recruitment is NOT an offer nor a guarantee of membership.  Membership selection is at the sole discretion of each chapter and its members and is not influenced or controlled by the Wittenberg Interfraternity Council, Wittenberg Panhellenic Council, nor Wittenberg Office of Student Involvement.
