Lindsay Brownlee:

Hi, my name is Lindsay Brownlee and I am a junior this year at Witt. I'm from the eastern shore of Maryland and I  transferred here last fall from Elon. I'm majoring in Spanish, and following the pre-nursing track as well. I've been taking Spanish since 7th grade and spent a fall semester living in Honduras- an amazing experience! I love painting and drawing, soccer, traveling, the outdoors, big cities and one day I hope to live in California. Please feel free to stop by the FLLC and say hi!

Emily Buzzard

Hola!  My name is Emily Buzzard, and I am a junior here at Wittenberg.  I am from the Cleveland area of Ohio and I am a Spanish and English double major.  I’ve always been interested in Spanish, and I was inspired by talented members of my hilarious AP Spanish class in high school to study Spanish further in college.  One of the highlights of my Spanish career was creating a fifteen minute version of the film Forrest Gump, in Spanish, with several members of my Spanish class…and as it would happen, I played Forrest Gump, blue plaid shirt, southern accent and all.  In all seriousness, I hope to perhaps teach Spanish or English after graduate work, maybe teach English as a second language, or go into speech therapy - I’m still figuring that out.  I love travel and I’m hoping to study abroad in Spain or South America next semester.  So, I’m all about Spanish and I’m here to help…please come see me in the FLLC!

Nicole Savage

Hi everyone!  My name is Nicole Savage, and I am a senior here at Witt.  I’m double majoring in English and Spanish, with the ultimate goal of someday writing novels and perhaps becoming a college professor.  I’ve studied Spanish since my freshman year of high school, and I love the language and the culture.  Also, my grandmother is from Puerto Rico, so I guess you could say Spanish is in my blood.  Some of my other interests include writing, reading anything I can get my hands on, and Broadway musicals and theatre in general.  Stop by the FLLC and see me if you need any help with Spanish, or even just to say “hola!”

Samantha Scott

Hi! My name is Samantha Scott and I'm a senior here at Witt. I'm a Spanish major and an Education minor. I love the arts and I love people. I've been studying Spanish since sophomore year of high school. I hope to graduate from Witt with my teacher's license and become a high school Spanish teacher. I'm here to help you with your Spanish studies, so I hope you'll stop by and see me in the FLLC soon!
